sp2 waren Sie dabei als Jesus das letzte Mahl und nicht Abendmahl feierte ? Handkommunion war NIE und ist NIE im Sinne Gottes
Communion in the Hand is wonderful, Godly and inspiring. Jesus invented and specified Communion in the Hand when he said "Take and eat". This was the practice of the Catholic Church for the first 800 years.

The verb λαβεῖν also means to receive. Therefore, the related verses could very well be translated as such: "Receive and eat''.
Like in Matthew 26:26 "... Λάβετε φάγετε..."
Now look at John 20:22. We have the same form and tense: aorist imperative active- second person plural. "... and He says to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit.'"
Or in Koine Greek: ''...καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς, Λάβετε Πνεῦμα Ἅγιον.''

@Adrien... Thanks, Adrien, for your input although I have heard it before. "receive" corrupts the entire sentence to say "“Receive and eat; this is my body.” when Jesus has already given it to his disciples.
More importantly there is no Bible in the world that translates it as 'receive".
